A Matter of Act consists of ten special films about human rights defenders. Impressive portraits of human rights defenders throughout the world show their brave fight against injustice and oppression. Robi Damelin attended the festival and got a lot of support for her reconciliation activities at the Parents Circle, the forum of bereaved families Palestinians and Israelis.
Last month the film won the Grand Prix at The 11th Paris International Film Festival on Human Rights.
The film is being screened NOW all over the world at the most prestigious film festivals We are very proud that we can offer the film to libraries when it's still showing in festivals/theatres across the globe. The film, which premiered at Hotdocs and DocAviv 2012, has been screened at over 50 festivals around the globe, including: IDFA's Best of Fest, The Hamptons International Film Festival, Warsaw International Film Festival, Korea International Film Festival and many more. The film also had a special screening at the United National headquarters in New York, honoring its contribution to the conflict resolution issue.
Now available with subtitles in English, Hebrew, Arabic, French and Italian.
